About Anne
Anne is a founding partner of Stanton Blackwell, leading the firm’s work with clients on financial and operational issues. She guides large non-profit, and rapidly growing mid-sized organizations to maximize capital deployment, rethink operating structures and realize cost savings. Her deep financial expertise
combined with her direct and clear communication style helps client teams to make difficult decisions.
In her work with clients, Anne’s strength is turning strategic vision into execution. She has a reputation as
a dynamic change agent skilled in simplifying and solving complex and persistent problems. Anne is noted
for her candor and ability to create compromise across multiple agendas.
Prior to starting Stanton Blackwell, Anne spent thirty years in the financial services industry. She was a Managing Director with JPMorgan Chase in New York, a senior executive on the post-crisis turnaround
team at Fannie Mae in Washington DC, and held leadership positions in regional banking. She began her
career at GE Capital where she spent fifteen years working in financial services across the United States, Europe, and Asia.
In addition to her work with Stanton Blackwell, Anne sits on the board of the Coleman Entrepreneurship
Center at DePaul University and the University of Chicago Graham School Advisory Board. She received
her undergraduate degree from Miami University (Ohio) and completed her graduate studies at the
University of Chicago.
