About Randy

Based in New York City, Randy oversees Stanton Blackwell’s client service across sectors and functions. 

 

In his work with clients, Randy provides guidance at the often challenging crossroads of finance, operations, and technology. Leveraging his deep experience, Randy enables teams to establish a disciplined business operating rhythm, facilitating collaboration among functions, and aligning often competing agendas.

 

Randy’s strength in leading strategic, multi-year planning and consensus building for transformational investments has made him the go-to executive for clients facing difficult or longstanding execution issues.

He helps clients deliver on a complex change agenda while managing an appropriate risk profile.   

 

Before joining Stanton Blackwell, Randy was a Managing Director at MUFG (Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group) in New York, serving as the Head of Portfolio Prioritization and the Chief Financial Officer of Operations and Technology in the America’s Division. Prior to his tenure at MUFG, he had finance, operations, and technology leadership roles at firms including BNY Mellon, Fannie Mae, and Capital One.

 

Randy is a decorated military veteran in the Canadian Army and served with the United Nations Peacekeeping Forces in both Cyprus and Croatia. Randy earned his undergraduate degree from the Royal Military College of Canada and completed his Master of Business Administration at the University of Western Ontario. Randy is a board member for the Giant Magellan Telescope, the most powerful telescope on Earth, currently under construction in Chile.
